How the Author Website Glow Up works
It’s simple, streamlined, and stress-free. You’ll know exactly when your website transformation is happening — and you’ll likely be amazed what I get done in just two brilliant days.

After you inquire and give me an idea of your goals, I’ll check out your website and confirm we’re a match. Then, we’ll pick the dates for your Glow Up, and you’ll pay a one-third deposit.

I’ll guide you on what to gather before we start. This is the time to assemble your book cover images, text updates, editorial reviews, reader praise, and relevant photos.
You’ll also prioritize your list of what you’d like me to work on.

We’ll meet by Zoom a few days beforehand, to review priorities and the material that you’ve gathered.

You’ve done everything ahead of time, so you can get on with other work (or life!) while I bring my brilliance to your website.
We’ll meet on Day 2 to make any extra adjustments you’d like.
And your payment balance is due on Day 2.

At the end of Day 2, we’ll get back on a short call to discuss the updates, and make sure you’re comfortable with any new skills to keep things fresh.

Frequently Asked
Do you only work in Squarespace?
At the moment, yes: I specialize in Squarespace for authors. Additionally, your website needs to be built using version 7.1. Send me your web address and I’ll take a look!
Will we get everything on my wish list done in two days?
We’ll prioritize the most impactful items together. Most clients are thrilled with how much I can accomplish in this intensive sprint. If I don’t finish, you’ll have the option to book another day.
How far in advance do I need to book?
I typically book a few weeks out. Once you choose your dates, that’s your guaranteed slot. If you’re gathering material for me, this will be due one week before.
I’m not sure what changes to ask for. Can you help me decide?
Absolutely. While preparing, tell me your worries and your author goals. I’ll give you friendly, expert advice for how your site can support you better.
Do I need to be available all day, both days?
No — we’ll have a planning call a few days ahead, and we’ll typically meet early on Day 2. There is an optional handover call at the end of Day 2, as well. The rest of the time, I’ll be working my magic behind the scenes.
What about time zones?
I live and (usually) work in the Pacific Time Zone, but I’ll do my utmost to accommodate time zone differences so that meetings are at a reasonable time for you. If you are based in the Eastern US, it’s likely our Glow Up meetings will be afternoon and/or early evening.
How much support will I get?
I’ll support you with preparation before your Glow Up, and with emailed questions for 7 days afterward. You’ll also get ongoing complimentary access to my curated collection of bite-sized training videos.
