After you inquire and give me an idea of your goals, I’ll check out your website and Substack to confirm we’re a match. Then, we’ll pick the dates for your Power Up, and you’ll pay a 30% deposit.

I’ll guide you on what to gather before we start, and share instructions for how to grant me temporary access to your Squarespace website and Substack.
You’ll also prioritize your list of any other website improvements you’d like me to work on.

We’ll meet by Zoom a few days beforehand, to review priorities and the material that you’ve gathered.

You’ve done everything ahead of time, so you can get on with other work (or life!) while I bring my brilliance to your Substack-Squarespace integrations.
We’ll meet on Day 2 to make any extra adjustments you’d like.
And your payment balance is due on Day 2.

At the end of Day 2, we’ll get back on a short call to discuss the updates, and make sure you’re comfortable with any new skills to keep things fresh.

Do I need both a Substack and a Squarespace website?
Yes—this service is designed for authors using both platforms.
Can I use this service if I’m not an author?
Probably! Please get in touch, send me your Squarespace website and Substack links, and we’ll take it from there.
Do you redesign my whole website?
This isn’t a total website overhaul, but your existing site will feel smoother, more polished, and more connected to your Substack presence.
There will certainly be time for a few small website improvements during your intensive, and you’ll prioritize what I work on. If needed, you’re welcome to book a follow-up day.
Do you rewrite content or create marketing copy?
No, but I will integrate what you already have and give clear recommendations where improvements are needed.
I’m not sure what changes to ask for. Can you help me decide?
Absolutely. While preparing, tell me your worries and your author goals. I’ll give you friendly, expert advice for how your site can support you better.
What if I don’t cross-post content in both places?
No problem. I can still optimize your setup and advise you on best practices going forward.
How far in advance do I need to book?
I typically book a few weeks out. Once you choose your dates, that’s your guaranteed slot. If you’re gathering material for me, this will be due one week before.
Do I need to be available all day, both days?
No — we’ll have a planning call a few days ahead, and we’ll typically meet early on Day 2. There is an optional handover call at the end of Day 2, as well. The rest of the time, I’ll be working my magic behind the scenes.
What about time zones?
I live and (usually) work in the Pacific Time Zone, but I’ll do my utmost to accommodate time zone differences so that meetings are at a reasonable time for you. If you are based in the Eastern US, it’s likely our Power Up meetings will be afternoon and/or early evening.
How much support will I get?
I’ll support you with preparation before your Power Up, and with emailed questions for 7 days afterward. You’ll also get ongoing complimentary access to my curated collection of bite-sized training videos.
