I was honored today to be interviewed by self publishing expert Dale L. Roberts.

Dale has pursued a full-time career in self-publishing and video content creation since 2014. With his many titles spanning self-publishing, fitness, and sci-fi horror, it’s no understatement to say he knows a massive amount about what works — and what doesn’t — when you set out to share your book with the world.

He’s generous with his knowledge, and cares deeply about the online community that he’s created.

Dale hosts both the Self-Publishing with Dale Podcast, and the Dale L. Roberts channel on YouTube, which is where he kindly invited me to appear as a guest.

  • Must-have features, especially if you’re just getting started

  • Is blogging dead, for all authors?

  • And the dreaded pop-up: is it a necessary evil for building your email list, or not?!

  • We also touched on a few of your choices for website technology, including WordPress, Squarespace, Carrd, and Payhip
